Ampeg BA500 Bass Combo Amp
This January Ampeg unveils the BA500 combo amp, a high output stage combo that’s perfect for players who want big power and versatility all in one convenient package. Ideal for experienced players who face a diversity of musical situations, the BA500 provides power and headroom in one unit, making it the combo amp of choice for rock, funk, jazz, and R&B players.
The BA500 features two 10-inch, 200 watt custom drivers for plenty of power handling and a true one-inch horn driver with an attenuator for controlling high frequency output. It operates at 350 watts RMS self-contained and up to 500 watts of RMS output at 2 ohms with a parallel extension speaker jack. Three bands of rotary EQ plus a nine-band graphic allow for quick and easy tone setting, and the tilt-back design is perfect for the monitor style stage application.
