Bass String Skipping: Octaves Playing 8th and 16thTake a look at the next bass tab and sheet music exercise. It shows the same simple octave riff played over a rock drum rhythm. But now it uses 8ths and 16ths notes!If you have a lot of time on your hands try playing each exercise, or else just play 5 or 10 and move on the next exercises and lessons. The main objective of this exercise is to try and improve your right hand playing.
