Yamaha new Fretless RBX270F Bass Guitar
Yamaha Guitars adds a new dimension to the RBX modern rock bass line with the introduction of the RBX270L, RBX270F and RBX370A at Summer NAMM 2001. Like the other members of the RBX family, quality materials, excellent sound and playability, and accessible prices make the latest entries standouts among their competitors. All models are scheduled for August delivery.
{16049.jpgr"The addition of a fretless, left-handed and active electronic models adds another dimension to a fine product line," states David Bergstrom, director of marketing, Combo Group, Pro Audio & Combo Division. "These new entries have the same cool RBX vibe, and live up to the demanding standards of Yamaha bass players."
The RBX270F fretless bass offers a solid Alder body mated to a Maple neck, chrome tuners, fully adjustable bridge and full two-octave Rosewood fingerboard for clear, balanced tone with extended harmonic range. Two Yamaha P-style pickups (each with its own volume control) can easily effect subtle or dramatic tonal changes necessary for any musical genre.
The RBX270F sports a fretless design. The RBX270F is available in Black and Metallic Green.
